Head of Talent

As our first Head of Talent, you will be responsible for accelerating Clearbit’s growth through building out talent infrastructure, and hiring the best talent. We are looking for someone who’s excited to “roll up their sleeves” and continue to build a great recruiting team to meet the needs of our ambitious hiring plans. You will work closely with the leadership team on recruiting strategy as well as hiring managers throughout the company.

What you will do

  • Iterate on our existing recruiting infrastructure and optimize for scale
  • Partner with leadership and hiring managers on all aspects of the recruiting process including defining end-to-end recruiting strategy, talent branding, aligning on growth goals, and implementing new strategies to deliver against targets
  • Develop & implement on strategies and programs to ensure we continue to attract top diverse talent
  • Manage and continue to develop our recruiting team
  • Lead hiring managers through headcount planning, development of JD’s, setting appropriate recruiting expectations for funnel metrics
  • Help steer our company culture and how we communicate to candidates
  • Improve how we source candidates and incorporate best practices for diversity and inclusion
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience throughout the whole recruiting process

What will set you up for success

  • Has previously led a Talent function (8+ years experience including 3+ years of recruiting management experience and exposure to building teams at different scales)
  • Passion for developing talent, not only on your team, but throughout the company
  • Understanding of what great process-driven recruiting looks like and is able to apply data to inform recruiting strategy and decisions
  • Ability to be a spokesperson of our company and culture
  • An ownership mentality & a bias towards action
  • Works effectively in a remote setting
