About the team:

the West Finance Systems Strategy team is responsible for setting the strategy and roadmap for all the digital products within our finance ecosystem in the Western hemisphere. This includes systems such as procurement, collections, employee expenses, reconciliation, and any apps that support the finance business function.

About the role:

As a Lead Financial Analyst, you will work with global teams across the West region to manage complex financial analysis reports and projects. Using a broad knowledge of financial practices and procedures, you will provide strategy recommendations to management. You’ll also be involved with our Global Digital Ecosystem (GDE) effort, the goal of which is to incrementally re-platform our business on a global scale.

This role can be based in the U.S. or internationally, so long as the chosen candidate can work a flexible schedule to accommodate meetings with stakeholders in Europe and South America (and periodically Asia as well).


  • Analyze/observe Finance Operations processes and highlight improvement opportunities to stakeholders and Product Owners.
  • Examples: reconciliation, payment acceptance/application, receivables management, collections process
  • Represent Finance as a subject matter expert across a variety of projects
  • Example: As a new agent portal is developed, you would represent Finance in conversations with IT
  • Partner with Finance stakeholders and Product Owners to agree on scope and design principles for projects and improvement initiatives
  • Example: Conduct a gap analysis of multiple countries’ systems and processes and recommend the go-forward approach to algin multiple countries into one system.
  • Guide the development of system solutions to drive process alignment across multiple countries.
  • Facilitate workshops with Finance Operations resources to derive business/functional requirements as they relate to finance
  • Capture business requirements and process flows then validate with Finance leadership for approval in a tool such as Visio or PowerPoint
  • Providing regular updates to key stakeholders on progress of projects, identifying risks and mitigants and escalating blockers to project progress to appropriate stakeholders
  • Collaborating and communicating effectively with external partners and delivery teams
  • Bachelor`s degree (Finance or Accounting) required.
  • Financial operations/accounting background strongly preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of finance experience.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is strongly desired for this role. Portuguese language skills will also be advantageous.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Advanced Powerpoint. Strong relationship building, stakeholder management and negotiation skills required.
  • Detailed oriented with strong project planning, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with agile software development (or an alternate software development approach)
  • Enough technical proficiency to participate in sprint planning and execution and have an informed, independent voice.
  • Knowledge of Jira – creating user stories and mapping them to epics
  • Schedule flexibility to meet with resources in the US or Europe as needed
  • Some travel is expected in this role (in accordance with company travel guidelines)
